Friendship

Does it make me a bad person if I do not put as much effort in keeping in touch with my friends? Not that I have actually been discarding my contacts like pieces of trash, but do you know how frustrating it feels when it seems like you are the only one trying? I have been through this numerous times and I have to say it sort of feels desperate when out of the blue, I email them or post on their facebook walls. Have you ever been in this situation before? Of course you may think that it doesn’t matter cause as long as the relationship is maintained but what sort of friendship will that be classified as? At times I am saddened by this, but I guess that’s the way we are and that’s how life is. Like François de la Rochefoucauld once said “the only constant in life is change.” And I guess we’ll be living like this till the end of time. But despite all this, I am thankful for those friends of mine who have been there for me when I need them. And in the end you guys are the ones that matter most. You know who you are.

Hello Folks

I viewed my blog today after a week to see that the combined updates of my friend’s blogs make sense as a whole sentence. If combined, it reads: March is here, bored to death huzzah! Weather sucks. OK that was two sentences but I ROFLMAO when I noticed this. OK, not so funny but at least I was amused.

I Am Number Twenty-Three

I just got home from watching this movie. I guess I have to say it surpassed all my expectations by actually being quite good. There was a little bit of suspense, comedy and action in it. Although not a big fan of sci-fi alien business, I must say after watching this movie, I wonder how it would be like to have the types of powers they (in the movie) posses. I mean wouldn't it be cool? Of course it wouldn't be humanly possible to do so, but think about it, possessing powers only you have. This is why this post is named 'I Am Number Twenty-Three', as I would like to be the 23rd creature/mutant/alien/being. Plus, 23 seems like the perfect number for me.

ps// I reckon that if you have absolutely nothing to do this weekend and  craving for a movie, go and watch this one. It may surprise you.

Life

When you reflect upon your life, and reminisce about the past, I’m sure there would be tears of happiness, sadness and everything in between. You may think, ‘wow, I’ve come a long way from my middle-school-geek ways’ or perhaps even go all emotional and think ‘where’d those good times go’. Whichever way it may be, I think that you should be thankful for the life you have. Like the saying goes, we only live once so make the most out of it. Of course I believe expressing yourself is OK by all means, but we all have to think that whatever tragedy that you’ve been through, you must pick yourself back up from the ground and leap further ahead. I know that it’s easier said than done, but even when the worse seems to strike you, the world doesn’t stop to grief with you, heck, time waits for no man right? So stop being all emotional and put yourself out there. You may discover the wonders of life that you may never have felt before. Go and get some inspiration. Go and have some fun. Go and be productive, caspisce?
